Machu Pichu is also overlooked by a peak (on the opposite side). Unfortunately time was limited so we didn't climb all the way up. Again the rains caused problems - the train had been cancelled for a few days due to a landslide. This being the rainy season the daunting Inca trail was closed as well. |
